Signals is Mazars' online platform with which we work together with you in a simple, safe and personal manner. Naturally, we apply the highest standards on both quality and security.
Multi Factor Authentication
In order to meet the latest security standards, Signals uses Multi Factor Authentication for logging in. This means that after entering your e-mail address and password, you confirm your login with an app on your smartphone.
Why Multi Factor Authentication?
Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) is an additional security step used to access web applications such as Signals.MFA provides additional assurance that only authorised persons can access the data in the web application. With MFA, Signals will meet the latest security standards.
Confirm your login by choosing a Multi Factor method
When setting up your MFA you can choose from 1 of the 3 following methods:
- OKTA Verify app
- Google / Microsoft Authenticator
- Email
After activating your account you can choose one of the methods as your Multi Factor method.
How does MFA via OKTA Verify work?
1. Download the OKTA Verify app in the App store (iPhone) or the Google play store (Android)
2. Log in to with your e-mail address and password
3. Follow the instructions and link your phone to your Signals account
How does MFA via Google or Microsoft Authenticator work?
1. Download the Google Authenticator or the Microsoft Authenticator app in the App store (iPhone) or the Google play store (Android)
2. Log in to with your e-mail address and password
3. Follow the instructions and link your phone to your Signals account
How does MFA via Email work?
After selecting Email as your preferred MFA method a verification code will be send to your registered emailaddress. You don't have to install anything on your smartphone.

I don't have a smartphone, how can I confirm?
In that case choose Email as your preferred MFA method.
I already use the OKTA Verify app. What should I do?
In that case, you don't need to download the app, but you can immediately start registering your device and linking it to your Signals account. Go to and log in with your e-mail address and password. Next, follow the instructions to link your phone to your Signals account.
I want to switch my MFA method. What can I do?
If you want to switch MFA method, please contact your local Servicedesk via Support and ask if they can reset your MFA. After this has been done, the next time you log in Signals you can choose your preferred MFA method.
